DayZ Server — Rules

Much like the server that made me love the game over a decade ago I encourage players to form groups and alliances that grow into communities but I must admit i find myself asking, if your heart isn't racing a little bit every time you're opening a door or out in the open wondering if you're about to catch one is it really Dayz anymore?

Rules

  1. No destructive base raiding. Crack the code, social engineer your way in, or kill them with the door open. Once you gain access you're free to steal whatever you would like but do not destroy anything.
  2. No base griefing. Do not attack, shoot into, or attempt to damage a closed locked base. This is off limits. Only after a player initiates PVP from inside the base may you fire into the base and in this scenario you may only attempt to destroy the player, this is not a green light to destroy Vehicles Parked inside the base or helicopters parked on the roof. This scenario ends at server restart and you may not shoot into the base again unless a player inside initiates PVP once again.
  3. Vehicles much like locked base doors, either beat the lock, catch him with the key or get him to open it for you. If it's out and about, unlocked and/or occupied it's free game.
  4. Pvp is allowed but repeatedly bullying the same player for an extended period of time is not.
  5. Change your name from survivor if you're planning to stay a while.
  6. Do not build right on military zones.
  7. If you build too big in one area and it starts to be an issue, you will be asked to downsize or spread out.
  8. Rules will be updated as I see fit.
